Heat Pump Training
We provide training on heat pump installation and maintenance
The installer course is subsidised by the Government
Low-carbon heat pumps are critical technologies for decarbonising heat.
To meet the UK’s legally-binding climate targets, thousands more heating engineers will need to learn to install and maintain these technologies
The Heat Training Grant supports trainees in England taking short training courses relevant to heat pumps and heat networks. Trainees can receive grants of up to £500 towards eligible courses
We also provide technical surveys for heat pump installation and heat loss calculations
About us
Optimum provides various accredited training courses and is registered with both BPEC and ABBE who are regulated by Ofqual for a range of qualifications and accredited with the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS)
We not only deliver accredited courses but have also written courses which are accredited in their own right
We are registered with the Department of Education and listed on the UK Register of Training Providers
